With a nod to history, the 26 rooms at L’Ermitage Hotel were inspired by an anchorite’s cell. Raw concrete walls, oak floors, curtains recalling a monk’s homespun cowl and wall lamps made from old locks create an almost monastic and perfectly assumed minimalism that encourages contemplation.

The wellness area at L’Ermitage Hotel provides a panoramic view of Lyon, Fourvière and the Monts d’Or. For recharging tired batteries, a heated, 25-meter-long, indoor-outdoor swimming pool open year round and a spa with Jacuzzi, hammam and sensorial showers are an integral part of the services offered to hotel residents.

Outside, a game of boules and a ping-pong table are available for relaxing interludes.

The bistronomical restaurant at L'Ermitage hotel offers menus that changes with the seasons and is based on fresh, local, home-made products.
