The small lobby is ornately decorated with Swiss wood panelling.
This is a friendly family run hotel with an ambience which the owners, the Konzett family, are justly proud of and work hard to maintain.The hotel will be undergoing renovation works until the middle of May 2009. They will work on the front side of the hotel, which will include new windows and balcony’s being put in place. The hotel will be closed until the 21st May due to these works.
The hotel is traditional in style and consists of several buildings which have been merged together. The balconies at the front of the hotel are adorned with flowers, creating a pleasant alpine effect. .This hotel is located in the centre of Grindelwald, opposite the railway station.
In addition to the terrace restaurant, the hotel has an a la carte restaurant furnished in a modern, elegant style, and two stuebli or typical Swiss restaurants, decorated in carved wood.
The medium sized rooms are comfortably furnished, with the majority having been renovated in the last few years. Rooms vary in standard from good condition to very good condition. The front facing rooms are particularly bright due to the French windows leading on to the balconies. The bathrooms are all in good condition.
